Come on by if you're attending Aeternitas in New Hampshire, we're declaring the Snarry Suite open--come and chat, or have a nibble of something, have a drink, sign our Snarry board and bask in the Snarry love! We're in room 101 of the Inn Building, across the street from the main part of the hotel. 8:32 pm	We're At It Again! Snarry Suite at Aeternitas FAQ! What is the Snarry Suite? A suite in the hotel that we're opening during the HP Con, Aeternitas in um, New Hampshire for Snarry fen to hang out in. We aren't an official function of the con and you won't find us in the program but we hope it will be fun! Who's crazy enough to do that? Um, well, lilyseyes, alisanne and dementordelta, that's who! Why? Because Delta still sucks at panels Just for fun. Is this the Snarry Meet-up? Not really. As far as we know, no one has stepped up and volunteered to organize the traditional Snarry Meet-up. If they do, the meet up is welcome to use our space, or we'll be happy to join them if plans are announced. Will there be schwag? If folks want to bring it, we'll be happy to give it away. When? We're planning to arrive Thursday and have the suite open as much as we can (panels, what panels?) during the con. We'll be wrapping things up Sunday. But I'm not into Snarry? Awww, you don't know what you're missing! Come by and let us convince you! Or come by and tell us why some other pairing (there are other pairings?) is better! But I'm not even into slash! Hmmm....would it help if we lured you in with food and good company and maybe a slash vid or two? Where? Once we know the room number of the suite, we'll post it in our journals, and as many places online as we can think of. We'll also have some flyers spread about the con, letting people know where we are. So, what is there to do? Talk. Eat. Drink. Drabble. Art. Listen to music. Watch a vid. Hang out. Eat. Maybe a few surprises... Did you say food? While we won't promise to be feeding the whole con we will have a few snacks on hand, and maybe a refreshing beverage or two. 9:29 pm	Sicky Boo Clank and Chains Updatey post is updatey! Have been verrah busy, sadly mostly because of work, but I did have the chance to revisit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios recently, thanks to some family members who wanted me to be their tour guide. This was my nearly 80 year old uncle, and he was utterly adorable—he bought a wand and many butterbeers. Also got to see Alan Rickman in his play, John Gabriel Borkman, up at the Brooklyn Academny of Music with cruisedirector and her family. We didn't do the fangirl-y stage-door-y thing but we did go to the artist talk after and got to hear Fiona Shaw and Lindsay Duncan as well as Alan (and the world's worst moderator) talk about the play as well as the craft of theater. Am very excited to be seeing How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying next month, especially with teasers like this--Dan looking sexy. In fannish news—well, okay, I guess all that was sort of fannish news, anyway, cruisedirector and I have signed up for HP Wankfest and Snape_Potter's Snarry-A-Thon! Yay! Oh, and I never copped to our Snarry Swap fic! The Safest Place. Not everyone's cup of tea—but thanks very much to everyone who braved the warnings and gave it a try! Um, and I just realized we never replied to comments. **blushyface** The lovely folks over at The Petulant Poetess have made my story, Original Sin one of their featured stories this month. 3:58 pm	Not So Weekly Update! But one with lots of news-- Over on snape_potter the Snarry Swap gift posted for myself and Cruisedirector and it's OMG amazing! Mystery artist you are a goddess! This weekend I'm off with cruisedirector and her family to see Alan Rickman in John Gabriel Borkman and the artist talk afterward that includes Alan, Fiona Shaw and Lindsey Duncan! I am EXCITE! I hear Wankfest is back--and Snarry-a-Thon is just around the corner-yay! It's been very weird having all deadlines and fannish obligations caught up. Though I may have been cheating on Snarry fandom with King's Speech fandom. Yes, three people qualify it as a fandom--come on, how can you not love Lionel and Bertie? (9 Comments |Comment on this)
