More Fannish News: I can’t believe Half Blood Prince opens next week and I’m leaving for Azkatraz in San Francisco the day after! I’m rooming with rubyrosered, leni_jess and slashpine. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at the Snarry meetup (and our panel, the State of the Snarry Ship for anyone who’s awake at that hour!) If anyone needs my cell phone number just let me know. Visiting: Had the first of the summer field trips with my nephew and we went to Natural Bridge and also saw the caverns and the wax museum. If you’ve never seen the Last Supper done in lifesize wax figures with a backdrop of Jesus being crucified, well, you’ve just never lived, have you?
Random Feel Good: This quote: Alan Rickman, Severus Snape in the Potter films, was a big help on Broadway. He cut short a holiday in Connecticut to visit Radcliffe and give him some pointers on stage presentation "that absolutely saw me through the last six weeks of the run" - how to be still, exploiting his "quite short and compact frame". Radcliffe says he used to "struggle" with Rickman: "I never used to know when he was joking or not. I think I took a lot of his sarcasm seriously.
