But is banking secrecy canon or fanon? Are we told or shown anywhere in canon that the goblins take great care in keeping bank business thier very own or has fandom created that idea our very own selves? And yes its for a new fic. 9:28p | My next vid is about O-Ren Ishii from the movie Kill Bill and I am enjoying the pain in the ass of grabbing the scenes I need to make this. *g* This is me, falling in love with the movie all over again. *swoons* Once I have all the footage I need, I am going to spend quite a bit of time putting them together to the song I chose. I think it works. I've been drabbling for Supernatural on IJ lately and if I am going to continue this, I am going to need more Supernatural icons beyond the one I have from the gag reel. I mean, heck, my first drabble's about Ruby and the second one is Dean/Gordon. I also have another drabble of Ellen/Jo for BBTP and only then do I have a Sam/Dean fic. So yes, more icons. Now it's time to kick the fiance into gear and have him make us dinner. |

12:00a | A quick post to say... Trina singing and dancing to the "Cell Block Tango" is something out of this world. The part she likes best? "He had it coming..." Not even ten and she already thinks like most women I know. I am so overdue for everything. This past week I've been feeling crappy and Trina's home for a few weeks-and she's always on the computer-which means I'm not. Tomorrow, I will send out the assignments for ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} switching_it_up and the fixes to justsonya for Sensei. I turn 27 last Wednesday and all of a sudden I'm the walking dead. lol. I hate to think how I'll function at 50. Also...I'm craving to read a Sanzo/Goku that doesn't make me want to spork my eyes out. I'm not picky about my Saiyuki pairings...though I do know I'm not very keen on Sanzo/Gojyo...but I am picky about the Sanzo characterisation. Also...I am craving some decent Sanzo/Hakkai. I've been in fandom so long that I'm gun shy about clicking on random fic links. Too many times...way too many times...the fics I find are really, really bad. Current Mood:  pensive |

10:19p | *sighs* Thank god we sold the Corvettes. It's going to take nearly $800 to fix my car, with all the shorts, the horn short and the flashers/hazard light short, the unlocking itself short, the security short where it won't let you start the car because it thinks you are stealing it. There is still the keyless entry thing. Seems we need to get a new transmitter for it. Mom's going to have to fight for the recall thing on the hazard/flashers lights. The guys at the garage refused to do anything about it. It's going to get fixed, but at the moment we have to pay for it and that's nearly $200. |

I finished the first marveloustales story, to some nice feedback, and have been trying to work on the second.The prompt is "616 -- Astonishing, genderswap, gen "... pretty simple, right? It's broad enough you can do almost anything, right? Except my brain wants to do TWO plots, and they are mutually exclusive. In one, I would tackle transgenderism, and actually write Abigail Brand -- who is pretty nifty and would be dealing better with her lover accidentally turning into a woman than he is. In the other, I just write a female version of Beast -- and frankly, Bobby is talking about how he's not phased by meeting a version of his best friend who has always been a woman (in fact, she's kind of hot and he can totally see why the other-him loves her, because he would totally be dating Hank if Hank were a girl) and generally making Scott's head explode from sheer not-phasedness. I might wind up writing *both* the damned stories. I wonder if that's within the rules. Hmm, I notice I'm being very mean to Scott. Apparently, I don't think Scott deals well with weirdness, which is ridiculous considering he's been a superhero in the Marvel Universe all his adult life... |
